Startup India Experts is a technology platform operated by Sudha Software Solutions Pvt. Ltd. Compliance services are delivered by independent partner professionals.

This Refund & Cancellation Policy governs all payments made for consultancy services via our platform. By purchasing our services, you agree to this policy.

1. Nature of Services

Startup India Experts provides professional consultancy assistance for:

  • DPIIT Recognition Support
  • Startup India Application Filing
  • Documentation & Compliance Guidance
We are NOT affiliated with the Government of India or the Startup India initiative. All payments are made towards consultancy expertise, time, documentation review, and administrative processing.

2. General Refund Rule

All consultancy service fees are non-refundable once work has commenced.

“Work Commenced” includes but is not limited to:

Initial consultation call
Eligibility assessment
Document checklist sharing
Application drafting
Portal login review
Submission preparation
Backend documentation processing

Once any of the above activities have begun, refund requests will not be entertained.

3. No Refund in Case of Government Rejection

Government approval or DPIIT recognition is subject to Government discretion. Refunds will NOT be provided if:

  • Application is rejected
  • Clarifications are raised
  • Additional documents are requested
  • Recognition is denied
  • Tax exemption is not granted

We do not guarantee approval.

4. Refund Eligibility (Limited Circumstances)

Refunds may only be considered if:

  • Payment was made twice accidentally
  • Payment was made due to technical error
  • Work has NOT yet commenced
  • Service is cancelled within 24 hours of payment and no processing has started

Approval of refund is solely at company discretion.

5. Cancellation Policy

Clients may request cancellation by email. If requested:

Before work begins

Refund may be processed after deduction of a processing fee (up to 20%) to cover administrative handling, payment gateway charges, and staff time.

After work begins

No refund.

6. Chargeback & Payment Dispute Policy

To prevent misuse and fraudulent disputes, if a client initiates a chargeback without contacting us first:

  • We will provide all engagement proof (records, logs, drafts) to the bank.
  • Client access to ongoing services will be immediately suspended.
  • Legal recovery action may be initiated for fraudulent disputes.

By purchasing services, you agree not to initiate a chargeback without first attempting written resolution.

7. Processing Timeline

If approved, refunds are processed within 7–14 business days via original payment method. Gateway charges are non-refundable.

9. Partial Refund

In rare cases where work is partially completed, management may approve a partial adjustment based on work status. Decision is final.

8. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will NOT be issued for delay in client data, change of business plan, government policy changes, or client dissatisfaction after submission.

10. Fraudulent Information

No refund will be issued if the client provides fake documents or misrepresents eligibility. We reserve the right to report fraudulent documents to authorities.
